This will be my last Xanga entry, at least for a good long while. I was thinking about the purpose of doing entries and who reads them. Well, I decided that those of you who really want to know what is going on in my life can call me. And I will call you. Or Email. I might at some point decide to again join the world of bloggers, but I am a pretty big fan of actually talking to people. So, if you want to keep in touch call me, and I will call you, otherwise, have a nice life :) If you want my email or phone number I will check my xanga for a week or so and write a comment asking me to send it to you via email. Its been fun....

Went to go get a new social security card this morning. Waited for 2 hours in small loby with screaming children, a man whose cell phone periodically ran with the latest and greatest brittany spears, and a roomfull of people who looked like they were so bored they might actually drop dead on the spot. So I read for an hour then got bored. For the next hour I learned how to play 4 variations of poker from a retired air force officer. It was quite entertaining. Moral of the story, always, and I mean always have a deck of cards in your purse (this does not apply to men, please men that I know, do not carry a purse...) Ah, life is funny sometimes.

Hello everyone! It was so great to see you all at Rebecca and Chris's wedding. Although it went by really fast, probably because I was really only in chicago for a day, but hey, you take what you can get right :) So, I got offered the job I wanted at Dell so that's pretty exciting. I have an offer session on wed. morning so assuming that all goes well I will definetly take the offer. Training starts Sep. 6th so I have a little time yet before I start. Thanks for your prayers, it has been a hard month but a good growing experience for me and has definetly stretched me. Hope ya'll got home saftely after the wedding. PS megan I miss you!!! it was sooooo good too see you, even for a few days, come visit :)

It has been a long week. On monday, i quit my job. I hate quitting and it was probably one of the most difficult things I have done in my life up until this point. I know I made the right decision but at different times during the week it has been hard to swallow. I quit because I didn't agree ethically with what the company was asking me to do. I won't go into details, but my job requirments included a large number of practices I do not believe were acceptable. I have felt the Lord's peace all week about my decision which has been amazing. But it doesn't change the fact that I do not have a job and need one. Please pray for me as I continue looking for a job. I am talking with a guy from Dell on monday, pray that it goes well. I look forward to seeing everyone next weekend.

Hello all! Well, good news. I have been offered a job!!! I am very excited about it and think it will be an excellent fit for me. I actually had my first interview with the company about 3 weeks ago. They were looking for someone with more industry experience (I of course have none). Anyway, long story short, I went in for another interview last Friday to interview with a training manager from their national headquarters in Dallas who was in Austin for a few days, the interview went great and later that day the owner of the Austin branch called and offered me a job. Its great pay, great atmosphere and seems like it will be a wonderful fit for me. It will probably be long hours and a lot of hard work but I'm excited. The company is Snelling Personnel Services and I will be an Account Manager. I'll be working mostly with Tech business's on the north side of Austin and helping them meet their employee needs. This is such a blessing and I really appreciate all your prayers, I know this wouldn't have come together without a lot of prayer. I start next monday so I'm trying to relax and enjoy my last week of "freedom". For all of you who are job hunting know that I am continually praying for you and know that it WILL come together at some point, I just know its frustrating in the meantime.
